what is the download manager software? |
The Download Manager software is free software that C&S Publishing had written by a software engineer specifically to deliver our electonic papers to subscribers.
That’s all it does: delivers the e-papers. It saves you the time and trouble of going out to the web site and downloading the e-paper.

When the web page opens, click the link that says: Download Manager 1.2—that’s the most recent version of the software.
Save that file to your desktop. Once it has downloaded, minimize your Internet connection, and then double click on the new Download Manager icon on your desktop. Follow the easy on-screen instructions to install the Download Manager. When it has been installed, you will get a small icon in your system tray (down in the corner near your clock) that looks like this:
 It’s very small and hard to see, but that’s it.
Right-click on it once and left-click on the button that says MANAGE SUBSCRIPTIONS. From that screen, you can check the boxes of as many of the e-papers produced by C&S Publishing that you want delivered to you each week. Then click on UPDATE SIUBSCRIPTIONS, and then CLOSE.
You have now installed and configured the Download Manager. When a new e-paper is available, it will deliver it to you. Just open the Zinio Reader and click on the LIBRARY button in the upper left to find your neatly stored issues!
