To begin, we work with you and your staff to create an individual “style sheet” that includes color palettes, font sets, and layout preferences. The “look” of your e-paper will be exactly what you want, and will reflect the professionalism of your operation.

Next, we work with you to design a unique web site to host the e-publications. This gateway site is paid for, established, and maintained by C&S Publishing for you.

When the web site is ready, and everyone is happy with the look of rht enew epublication, we accept your information in text, .pdf, .jpg, and Excel formats via e-mail or our FTP site, and produce your e-paper on time and delivered without fail.

Your e-publication can also be included, if you like, here on this web site where we have all our e-publications available.

We deliver your e-paper directly to your members via our Delivery Manager software. All they have to do is turn on their computers, and the e-publication will be delivered to them and stored off their desktops in the Adobe Reader library.

Printable editions in Adobe Acrobat format are posted online for those who want to print out the paper.

We will also send an e-mail notification that the e-publication is posted online and ready to read, and maintain the database for that. The gateway web site will have a form so people can add themselfs into the email notification service. It is automated so people can opt out easily via a simple email.

C&S Publishing will sell advertising for you, with 25 percent of the revenue given back to your association. If you don’t have the time or inclination to sell advertising, let us do the work and make money for us both. All costs associated with securing the advertising covered by C&S Publishing, including the transition of existing advertisers over to the full-color e-format.

Our Monthly Safety e-Magazines

Produced on the first Monday of every month, these e-magazines are a joint venture of the Placer County Contractors Association, the Central California Builders Exchange and the El Dorado Builders' Exchange. Each partner provides one or two articles a month into the group pool, plus whatever information they wish to publish that is specific to their association.

C&S Publishing takes all the information, and produces a unique safety e-magazine for each partner. It is provided in the "true" electronic format, and also in an Adobe Acrobat "printable" edition. Both are made available on the gateway web site established and maintained by C&S Publishing.

C&S Publishing also provides CDs for distribution that contain the Adobe Reader and the Delivery Manager software. We also send out an email notification that a new safety e-magazine is ready, for those who are not using the Delivery Manager to have their e-papers delivered to them.

The cost to provide this valuable information to their members is $150 per month.

The members of the cooperative are open to adding additional partners, which will lighten the load for everyone in terms of providing articles.
